Know the source
Start where the product, skill or opportunity actually begins.
Yaniv Hamudot · Los Angeles
I build businesses that connect people straight to the producers behind what they buy — from LA's fashion and flower districts to signs, sportfishing, games and books.
Finance, real assets, family fashion — and a new generation of direct brands.
The through-line
Every chapter taught me the same lesson: value is created at the source — and lost in the layers between.
Start where the product, skill or opportunity actually begins.
Cut out steps that add cost without adding value.
Real experience and family knowledge — not shortcuts.

Los Angeles roots
Los Angeles is not just where Yaniv works — it is home. The family put down roots here, built its businesses in the downtown districts, and showed up for the life of the city around them. Two mayors, one hometown — different days, same habit of showing up. Every Direct brand starts here for a reason: the harbor, the districts and the people are the home advantage.

A legacy carried forward
Yeron Hamudot · November 19, 1980 — September 23, 2026 · 12 Tishrei 5787
Yeron helped build the family’s fashion story — beside our father in downtown LA, carrying the businesses forward, creating Broken Leash in Henderson and opening Identity Fashion, his high-end boutique on Melrose.
“He’s with me forever.”

The philosophy
Asia’s supply enters through the LA harbor. The garment district sits beside that source, and the makers are already here. My work is making that path visible.
Underneath all of it sits a simple mission. Honor the family name — Hamudot. Grow in order to help people. And, plainly put, make people feel good and happy. The ventures change; that does not.
Beyond business
The brands are the work; the family is the why. Yaniv is a son, a brother and an uncle — and, to the people around him, a friend you can count on and a caring neighbor, in his building on Wilshire and in the city he has never left for long. The ventures on this page are personal: a family fashion trade carried forward, a boat name kept for fifteen years, stories written for the next generation.
Business moves fast. The people it is all for do not change.
